What we keep

MuvToday is a community for people who don't move enough yet. This page says what the site stores, in plain words.

If you join

We ask for your first name and email. Those go to Kit, the service that sends MuvToday email, so we can send inspiring stories, ideas for moving, and encouragement. Every email has a way to unsubscribe. Joining is optional. You can move without it. For a couple of minutes after a join, we keep a scrambled copy of the email address, not the address itself, so a second tap is not counted as a new member. Then that copy is removed.

On this device

This browser remembers an anonymous id, whether you joined, how you arrived, and the movement in front of you. It does not keep a history of your movements. To remove it, clear this site's data in your browser settings.

Anonymous counts

The site records that a page was opened, that a movement was chosen or finished, and that someone joined. Those counts use the anonymous id. They include a creator name when you arrive from their story or their link, so we can see which stories bring people in. They never include your name, your email, or the words you type for your own movement.

What we don't do

We don't sell this information. We don't build an advertising profile. We don't ask you to create an account.
